We’re back with fourteen tournaments this year all over the Northeast, including the second Northeast Regional Championships! Take a look at what we have to offer. Also, new subject championships are going to happen, so check back often for information on those!

If you received one of our mailings or are otherwise new to Quizbowl, you may be confused by a lot of the jargon on this site. If you are, don’t worry at all! Just shoot an email to liqballiance@gmail.com with any questions you may have, and we’ll be more than happy to answer them. We’re working on a guide for those who have never heard of the game before, and we’ll have that done as soon as possible. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello, teams!
We’re very pleased to announce the return of the Island Cup for a fourth season, the Garden Cup for a second season, and the all-new Charter and Valley cups! We’re going to crown the best teams on Long Island and in New Jersey, Connecticut, and the Hudson Valley. It’s long been our dream to host tournaments in all the old regions covered by The Challenge, and now we’re all set to go!
Information will be posted as dates and sites are finalized; we are aiming to have everything set before the 2021-22 school year is out.
We’re also in the early planning stages for an all-Northeast championship tournament for highly-placing teams at each of the Cups, plus teams from all throughout New England, the Tri-State, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. We’re making hosting arrangements now!

We’re happy to announce that, after taking last year off for our nationwide online quizbowl tournaments, we’re back in-person with the Island Cup, open to any and every team that wants to come. Who will be the best team on Long Island this year? It could be anyone, so be sure to sign up!
